Karen Morton has over 20 years experience of developing and running voluntary organisations and networks. Karen was Director of Berkshire Women's Aid through 10 years of organisational growth. As Programme Director of Berkshire Common Purpose she brought together senior players from all sectors to learn how the world works at a local level. Karen was for many years the Chair of Reading Voluntary Sector Forum, and is currently Vice-Chair of Connect Reading (the business community partnership), and committee member of Berkshire Coeliac Group. Karen was instrumental in setting up and running the Bangor Rape Crisis Line, Bangor Women's Centre, Reading Women's Information Centre, and Well Women Association, and has led on a number of campaigns. Karen has extensive chairing and facilitation experience and the ability to bring the best out of diverse groups of people.
